A ski cabin fused with Japanese minimalism & modern contemporary design.

Take the Ski Cabin concept, something that’s synonymous with any ski field around the world, fuse it with Japanese minimalism and finish it off with a healthy helping of modern contemporary design cues, and what you will get is The Cabins. 2 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms spread out over 82SQM of floor space, they sit in the prime location that is St. Moritz, a stone’s throw away from the Family Lifts in Hirafu Village.

Hokkaido Tracks teamed up with KplusK Architects & Associates to push the concept of a minimalist ultra modern ski cabin. Inspired by the modern alpine explorer, but with touches of local culture. Builders Fukushima Kensetsu brought the first cabin to life in 2015, featuring distinctive clean lines with huge windows. The open living, dining and kitchen area takes full advantage of the space and views. The loft-like second floor holds one of the two cosy bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom. Perfect for those who’s main focus are on the slopes, but still appreciate the modern conveniences at the end of the day.
